Moving

Through a Personalized Moving Strategy, we visit your new home and, with you carefully determine what will fit in your new home prior to the move.  We help prioritize what is most important and helpful as you move forward. There will be no guessing games or stress on moving day.

Documented items to be moved, will be packed and carefully relocated to your new home.

Items for distribution will be packed ready for collection or shipped to your beneficiary’s address along with a photographic inventory report and the story behind each gifted item.

Items designated for donation will be packed and delivered to the charity of your choice. You will be issued a tax receipt.

Items designated for disposal will be recycled or discarded as requested. These items will also be documented.

Prior to disposal of personal items, you may choose to have family members review and approve this list.

We understand that a move for anyone, no matter their age, can be stressful.  For older adults, a move can be a daunting endeavor. We all desire to feel at home in our environment which is why Sentimental Value makes it our mission to make the transition into the new home as seamless and simple as possible.

We strive to replicate the former environment as closely as possible. Placing familiar items close at hand and utilizing familiar furniture.  Although scaling down, the new environment feels just like home.
